Crestron HZ2-KPCN Horizon 2 Cresnet Keypad

The HZ2-KPCN is the wired member of the Horizon 2 keypad line. It runs on Cresnet, so power and data arrive on one four-conductor cable and the keypad draws 2 W, and it carries two paralleled Cresnet terminal blocks so a run can be daisy-chained through the back box instead of home-running every device. From there it controls lighting, shading, audio and whatever else the processor exposes. A control input port takes a contact closure or a 0-10 V signal, which is how an occupancy sensor or a third-party photocell gets into the system without its own interface.

The face is nine push buttons under a Style 1 through Style 6 assembly, five RGB backlights on a local color theme with an alternate theme available per position, and an ambient light sensor that switches day and night backlight modes and dims the backlights to suit the room. Standard models ship with default engraving on a five-button Style 1 assembly; ENGRAVED models ship with your own laser-etched legends on the style you specify, and textured blanks are available if you want a third party to do the etching. Textured models include a 1-gang Horizon 2 faceplate. Glass and metal models do not, and multi-gang installations use the HZ2-FP-G series, sold separately. Glass and metal models mounted in an EU or UK back box also need the HZ2-KPCN-WMKT wall mount kit.
