Crestron MPB4-301 4-Series Media Presentation Button Panel 301
The MPB4-301 trades the capacitive volume buttons of the smaller panels for a continuous-turn rotary encoder, ringed by a blue multisegment circular LED graph that shows level at a glance. Five push buttons take any of the 25 predesignated labels or the five blanks included, with custom laser-etched labels available as MPB4/MPC4-BTN5-B or -W ENGRAVED. Mute, volume up and down and power are projected capacitive buttons, and everything on the front panel including the knob is programmable.
Backlighting is white when a button is inactive and blue when active, with a photosensor stepping brightness through three levels and dimming or extinguishing it when the panel idles. It is a button panel rather than a controller, so it needs a separate 4-Series processor. Power arrives as PoE+, requesting 15 W with LLDP advanced power management or 30 W without, and it draws 8.5 W typical. The panel flush mounts in a 2-gang U.S. electrical box, with a security screw included to stop casual removal.
