Crestron CEN-SWSFP-28 28-Port Managed Fibre Switch

The CEN-SWSFP-28 is an all-optical switch: sixteen 1/10 Gigabit Base-X SFP+ cages, eight further 10 Gigabit SFP+ and four 25 Gigabit Base-X SFP28, with no copper ports at all. It is the aggregation layer of a large DM NVX estate, where the runs are long enough that fibre is the only sensible medium and the uplinks need to be faster than the edge.

The fabric is 680 Gbps non-blocking, with Layer 2 and Layer 3 managed switching, LLDP, and selectable DM NVX and DM NAX profiles that configure the multicast behaviour in one step. A slot takes a modular power supply unit, sold separately, for redundancy. It is 1U at 17.32 by 15.74 in. and 13.78 lb, draws 6.3 A at 100-240VAC, and consumes 119.3 W under full mesh traffic.
