Where the CEN-SWPOE-30 gives 30 W a port, the Ultra gives 90. Twenty-four of its twenty-six 1000Base-T Gigabit ports supply PoE++ to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 with a 1440 W maximum combined output, which is the class of budget PoE displays, PoE ceiling speakers and larger lighting loads actually need. Four 1 Gigabit Base-X SFP ports handle the uplink, on a 60 Gbps non-blocking fabric.

The power supply arrangement follows the load: a single AC connection supports 889 W of PoE and a dual AC connection 1734 W, dropping to 48.8 W under full mesh traffic with no PoE and 36.9 W in standby. It is 1U at 17.32 by 15.78 in. and 14.87 lb with reversible rack ears. Selectable DM NVX and DM NAX profiles configure the multicast behaviour an AV-over-IP system needs in one step rather than port by port, and a streamlined web browser interface, an advanced CLI and LLDP cover the rest of the commissioning.
