Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Recorder HD
The DeckLink Mini Recorder HD is the capture half of the Mini pair, a half height PCIe card with one 10-bit SDI input switchable between SD and HD and one HDMI 2.0 type A input. It is the straightforward way to get a camera, a switcher output or a set top box into an edit system for logging, live capture or streaming, without giving up a full length slot.
SDI accepts 270Mb, 1.5G and 3G rates up to 1080p60 and 2Kp60 DCI, carrying sixteen embedded audio channels, while HDMI carries eight. Video sampling covers 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, and the card reads RP 188 timecode and closed captioning off the SDI stream. It installs in a single lane generation 2 slot on Mac, Windows and Linux and ships with Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey and the Desktop Video Utility.
