Black Box ACS2001A-R3 CATx DVI-D Single-Link Extender Kit with DDC
The DVI specification runs out of road at about 16.4 feet, which is why a lot of installs end up with the PC in the wrong place. This kit moves single-link DVI-D over CAT5, CAT5e or CAT6 to 125 feet (50 m) at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, for the price of a length of network cable.
Installation is three connections: DVI-D out of the PC into the local unit, the display into the remote unit, CATx between them, power on. DDC emulation is supported so the source sees the display it expects, and internal power protection keeps the video signal steady. It extends digital video only - useful in conference rooms, offices, broadcast and graphics studios, R&D labs and medical imaging.
