Audio-Technica PRO35 Clip-On Instrument Microphone

The PRO35 is a cardioid condenser clip-on microphone built for sax, toms, brass, and percussion, the high-SPL instruments that chew up ordinary clip mics on an active stage. Its cardioid pattern rejects sound from the sides and rear to isolate the instrument it's clipped to, and the included AT8418 UniMount clip positions the mic precisely while shock-mounting the element against handling noise and stage vibration. The standard PRO35 ships with the AT8538 power module, terminating to a standard XLR male connector for any phantom-powered input.

The PRO35CH and PRO35CW are mic-only versions with a permanently attached 55" cable, differing only in the connector at the end: PRO35CH terminates in a screw-down 4-pin cH-style connector for Audio-Technica cH-style body-pack transmitters, while PRO35CW terminates in a locking 4-pin connector for A-T UniPak-style body-pack wireless. Both skip the phantom-power module since the body-pack transmitter powers the capsule, making either the direct swap-in for a working wireless rig.
