Audio-Technica U853PMWU

The U853PMWU is a cardioid condenser hanging microphone from Audio-Technica's UniPoint line, finished in white to disappear against a ceiling or light wall. Suspended over a choir, orchestra, theater stage, or altar, its cardioid pattern reaches down into the ensemble while rejecting sound from behind, for even, low-profile coverage that stays out of sightlines.

It runs on 11 to 52V phantom and is built for permanent install, with UniGuard RFI shielding keeping long cable runs quiet against interference. The kit ships with an AT8534 power module (roll-off and +10 dB gain switches), an AT8154(WH) two-stage foam windscreen, an AT8451(WH) steel hanger for suspension, and an AT8438 stand adapter.
