Audio-Technica AT8492S Surface Mounting System

The AT8492S is built for the instruments a standard clip-on mount can't reach: accordions and other instruments with challenging, curved, or grille-style mounting surfaces. It bundles the AT8491S surface mount with a 5-inch AT8490 gooseneck, holding Audio-Technica's ATM350a cardioid condenser instrument mic close to the sound source without a stand or boom in the way.

The notched mount attaches permanently with the accordion's own grille screw and the included adhesive silicon pad, or temporarily with fastener tape pads for a rental or shared instrument. A transparent protective film is also included to keep the mounting point from marring the instrument's finish, and the flexible gooseneck holds its position through a full performance no matter how much the instrument moves.
