Audio-Technica AT8615 Microphone Desk Stand
The AT8615 is a cast-metal desk stand that lets any standard XLR-type microphone plug straight in and stand on a table, podium, or console top without a separate clip or clamp. An XLRF input on the base connects to the mic and an XLRM output feeds the cable running to a mixer or interface, so the whole stand doubles as the mic's connector.
The AT8615RS is the same quick-mount base with an added on/off mute switch built in, useful for a phantom-powered mic at a lectern or panel table where a presenter needs to cut their own mic without reaching for a mixer. Both versions fit the same broad range of Audio-Technica case styles used across the company's desk and gooseneck microphone lines.
