Audio-Technica ATM350 UniMount Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone System
Every ATM350 UniMount system starts with the same ATM350a cardioid condenser capsule, a small, high-SPL mic that gives a clear, well-balanced response on close-miked instruments, then pairs it with mounting hardware built for one specific instrument. The drum version (ATM350D) uses a spring-loaded clamp that grips a drum lug without blocking tuning access; the guitar (ATM350GL) and piano (ATM350PL) versions use a 9-inch gooseneck for extra reach; the surface version (ATM350S) is built for accordions and other hard-to-mike instruments; and the woodwind version (ATM350W) straps securely to any woodwind body.
Every configuration runs through Audio-Technica's AT8543 in-line power module, which carries a switchable 80Hz high-pass filter to tame low-frequency noise, and every kit also includes an AT8468 violin mount with a hook-and-loop fastener as a second mounting option, plus a protective carrying case. The cardioid capsule itself is field-swappable for an optional UE-H hypercardioid or UE-O omnidirectional element if the room or instrument calls for a different pattern.
