Audio-Technica AT8657/LED Flush-Mount Microphone Socket with Logic I/O
The AT8657/LED mounts flush into a tabletop and accepts any 21mm gooseneck or button-style boundary microphone with a 3-pin XLRM output, including Audio-Technica's own ES945 and ES947, for a clean, low-profile install in a conference room or boardroom. Its logic-out capability lets a programmable capacitance switch on the mic trigger an external device, a camera preset or a room light, straight from a touch on the mic itself.
A lock switch automatically secures the microphone in place as soon as it is inserted and holds it until a user manually releases it, so it won't come loose during a meeting. An integral red/green LED ring is powered entirely by the mic's own phantom power and is controllable from a logic-enabled device, giving a clear visual cue of mute/live status without running a separate power line. Each socket ships with a pair of rubber isolation rings and a metal retainer ring to dampen surface vibration when used with a gooseneck mic.
