Audio-Technica AT8647QM/S Microphone Shock-Mount Plate

The AT8647QM/S is a shock-mount plate built around an integral XLRF connector, letting a microphone snap into a fixed installation point and come back out again without unscrewing a clip or disturbing the wiring behind it. That is the whole point of a quick-mount plate: a broadcast desk, a house of worship, or a lecture hall can swap or service a mic in seconds without a tech pulling cable.

The /S variant adds a built-in mute switch, so a presenter or house engineer can cut the mic locally at the mount itself rather than reaching for a mixer.
