Audio-Technica AT8537 Power Module for AT898/AT899

The AT8537 is the dedicated in-line power module for Audio-Technica's AT898 and AT899 subminiature lavalier microphones, sitting between the mic's cable and the mixer to supply the bias voltage those capsules need and convert the signal to a standard balanced microphone-level output. It is not a general-purpose adapter; it is matched specifically to the AT898/AT899 series.

It runs on either 48V phantom power from a mixer or an internal battery, so the lavalier stays usable on gear without phantom supply. Its compact, discreet in-line housing keeps the extra hardware low-profile when the module is clipped to a belt or cable run.
