Analog Way HDMI 2.0 Over Fiber Extender Receiver

The EXT-HDMI20-OPT-RX is the receiving half of Analog Way's HDMI 2.0 fiber link. It takes an uncompressed HDMI 2.0 class 4K signal with embedded audio off one multimode fiber at ranges up to 600 m (about 2000 ft), or full HD out to 1200 m (about 3900 ft), on a standard SC connector. Bandwidth reaches 18 Gbps, so it carries true UHD 4K at 60Hz 4:4:4 with no chroma subsampling, 10-bit 4K60 at 4:2:2, and extra-wide custom formats such as 8192x1080 at 60Hz that a stitched LED wall actually asks for.

It pairs with the EXT-HDMI20-OPT-TX transmitter or directly with a LivePremier HDMI 2.0 over fiber output card (ref. ACC-AQL-OUT-HDMI-FBR). HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 handshakes are handled on board, HDR10 and HLG pass through, and BT.709 and BT.2020 colour spaces are supported along with eight embedded audio channels. The housing is machined aluminium, which doubles as the heatsink, and the unit powers from an external adaptor or a USB A connection. Sixteen of them rack inside an OPT-POWERTRAY.
