AKG RA4000 B/EW Active Omnidirectional UHF Antenna

The RA4000 B/EW is the active version of AKG's wide-band UHF receiving antenna, covering 470 to 952 MHz with a 360 degree pattern. The point of the active build is the integrated amplifier: it makes up for the loss in a long coax run, so the antenna can go where the coverage is rather than where the rack is, and with matched AKG antenna components it works over cable runs up to 300 m. Power comes back up the same coax from the receiver or splitter, so there is no separate supply at the antenna end.

The housing is waterproof and rated for indoor or outdoor use, which matters for stadium, house of worship and outdoor stage installs. A universal stand adapter is included for 3/8 inch or 5/8 inch floor stands, and the RF output is a female BNC into a 50 ohm load.
