AKG SR45 Wireless Diversity Receiver
The SR45 is the receiver for AKG's Perception Wireless 45 system, and its whole design brief is that a volunteer can run it. Channel presets cover up to eight fixed frequencies, squelch is a single adjustable control, and an audio-clipping LED plus an RF signal LED on the front tell you at a glance whether the problem is level or coverage. Space diversity keeps the link up when a performer walks behind a pillar.
Outputs are a professional balanced XLR and an unbalanced 1/4 inch jack, adjustable from microphone to line level, which is what lets the same receiver feed a house console in one room and a powered speaker in another. A universal switched-mode power supply kit ships with it for worldwide use, and the optional RMU40 Pro rack kit puts it in a rack.
