AKG C5 Condenser Vocal Microphone

The C5 is a professional condenser vocal microphone made to cut through the loudest stage mix. Its cardioid pattern gives high gain before feedback and has been optimized for use with in-ear monitor systems, where a controlled, detailed response helps a singer hear clearly. An attachable presence-boost adapter offers two voicing options from the same microphone.

A gold-plated transducer case protects the capsule against corrosion and humidity, and a solid die-cast housing with a rugged grille stands up to hard touring use. The C5 WL1 is the same capsule as a screw-on head for AKG bodypack and handheld wireless transmitters.
