AKG C636 Master Reference Condenser Vocal Microphone
The C636 evolves AKG's studio-legend C535 capsule into a handheld built for live performance. A uniform cardioid pattern that holds its shape across the full frequency range fights feedback, while a proprietary double shock suspension and a 3-layer pop-noise system cancel handling noise and plosives without touching the transparent, uncompressed tone the C535 is known for.
The capsule is 24-carat gold-plated for corrosion resistance, and the body is rugged zinc alloy with a spring-steel grille built to survive nightly stage use. Each mic ships with a zip bag and an SA61 stand adapter, ready to go straight onto a boom or handheld capsule.
