AKG C520 Head-Worn Condenser Microphone

The C520 is a head-worn cardioid condenser that keeps a consistent, close vocal pickup while leaving both hands free, ideal for singing performers, presenters, fitness instructors, and houses of worship. The adjustable, lightweight headband and flexible boom position the capsule at the corner of the mouth for a full, even sound.

Because the capsule stays a fixed distance from the mouth, level and tone remain stable as the wearer moves. The C520 is terminated for a wired XLR input; the C520 L uses a mini-XLR for AKG bodypack transmitters, so it drops into a wireless rig without changing the sound.
