AKG C516 ML Clip-On Instrument Microphone

The C516 ML is a miniature clip-on condenser built to mic wind and string instruments up close on a loud stage. Its cardioid pattern and integrated clamp let it sit right at the bell or body of the instrument, capturing a full, natural tone while rejecting spill from the rest of the band.

The flexible gooseneck holds the capsule exactly where it is needed, and the mini-XLR (ML) output terminates for use with a bodypack transmitter or, with an AKG phantom adapter, a wired XLR input. The all-metal build keeps it reliable through nightly stage use.
