Vizrt NRS8 NDI Shared Storage Server, 96TB Configured

The Vizrt NRS8 puts the NRS shared storage workflow into a short-depth 18 inch 4RU chassis, which is the version that fits an OB truck rack or a road case where a full-depth server will not. It records NDI streams directly to protected shared storage, lets an operator preview each NDI source before it is committed, and can capture several sources at once into the same or separate locations on the server. Recordings stay editable as growing files, so an editor working over NDI Tools can start cutting in Adobe Premiere Pro before the capture has finished.

This configuration ships with 96TB, redundant power, and a 10GbE network path with 1GbE and 10GbE expansion options; SSD and HDD builds are both available. One NRS16 EXP expansion chassis can be attached over SAS when the library grows. As with every NRS system, unlimited ShareBrowser media asset management licenses are included, along with the automations engine, transcoding, API and remote workflow tools that handle SpeedHQ, BRAW, RED RAW, ARRIRAW and ProRes conversions, offsite or cloud backup, and transfers between networked volumes.
