Vizrt NRS Nearline Archive Storage Server, 192TB Configured

Vizrt NRS Nearline is the second tier of the NRS storage line, the place finished shows go when they no longer need to sit on the fast production volume but still have to come back in seconds rather than off a shelf. It shares the NRS platform with the NRS16 and NRS8, so the same ShareBrowser catalog, the same automations and the same remote workflow tools cover both tiers and media moves between them without leaving the system.

This configuration ships with 192TB in a full-depth 3RU chassis with redundant power, and it accepts up to four NRS16 EXP expansion chassis as the archive grows. Networking starts at 10GbE with 1GbE and 10GbE expansion options. Unlimited ShareBrowser licenses are included for the whole facility, along with the automations engine, transcoding, API and remote workflow tools that can transcode SpeedHQ, BRAW, RED RAW, ARRIRAW and ProRes, sync or back up to a remote server or cloud storage, and transfer media across networked volumes on a schedule.
