Vizrt NRSD Desktop NDI Shared Storage, 48TB Configured

The Vizrt NRSD is the desktop member of the NRS line, for a team that needs real shared storage but has no rack to put it in. It runs quietly enough to live in an edit bay or a control room corner and still does the work the rack units do: preview an NDI source before recording it, capture several NDI streams at the same time to the same or different locations, and hand the media to the whole crew from a single protected volume.

Recordings are growing files, so a TriCaster, Viz 3Play or Viz Connect Studio I/O feed can be edited in Adobe Premiere Pro over NDI Tools while capture continues. This configuration ships with 48TB and a 10GbE network path, with 1GbE and 10GbE expansion options available. Unlimited ShareBrowser media asset management licenses are included, as are the automations engine, transcoding, API and remote workflow tools that transcode SpeedHQ, BRAW, RED RAW, ARRIRAW and ProRes, sync media to a second server or cloud storage, and move files between networked volumes on a schedule.
