Vizrt NRS16 NDI Shared Storage Server, 192TB Configured

The Vizrt NRS16 is the full-size member of the NRS shared storage line, a 3RU server that records NDI streams straight to protected shared storage so a whole crew works from one copy of the media. Because NRS is NDI-native, an operator can preview an NDI source before committing it, start and stop recordings from the storage side, and record several sources at once to the same or different locations on the server. Files stay editable while they grow, so an editor can cut a package in Premiere Pro using NDI Tools while the show is still on air.

This configuration ships with 192TB and a full-depth 3RU chassis with redundant power, and it takes up to four NRS16 EXP expansion chassis when the library outgrows the head unit. Networking starts at 10GbE with 1GbE and 10GbE expansion options, and both SSD and HDD builds are available. Every unit includes unlimited licenses of ShareBrowser media asset management plus the automations engine, transcoding, API and remote workflow tools, so transcoding to SpeedHQ, BRAW, RED RAW, ARRIRAW or ProRes, backing up to a second site, and moving media across networked storage all run without another license to buy.
