RCF SUB 9016-AS Active 16-Inch Subwoofer

The SUB 9016-AS is the compact member of RCF's high-power touring subwoofer line. A 16-inch neodymium woofer on a 4-inch voice coil is driven by a 4000 W Class-D amplifier, reaching 137 dB from 30 Hz to 200 Hz. The 16-inch format is a deliberate middle ground: more displacement than a 15 without the footprint and weight penalty of an 18.

The plywood cabinet is finished in Polyurea for weather and abrasion resistance on outdoor runs, and a detachable front cart means one person can move it across a venue floor. RDNet over Ethercon carries EQ, delay, cardioid array setup, and crossover presets matched to RCF tops. Connections are XLR in and out with Powercon TRUE1 TOP for mains. The cabinet weighs 99.21 lbs.
