RCF SUB 905-AS MK3 Active Subwoofer

The SUB 905-AS MK3 is the bass end of a portable RCF rig. A 15-inch, 3.0-inch voice coil woofer sits in a Baltic birch plywood cabinet driven by a Class D amplifier rated 2200 W Peak, 1100 W RMS, with fast attack and honest transient response rather than one-note thump. Maximum output is 133 dB at one metre.

The rear panel carries the controls that actually matter on a load-in: volume, EQ, phase reverse, and a crossover selector, with balanced XLR in and a filtered XLR out feeding the tops. An M20 pole socket on top takes a satellite speaker directly, and handles on each side make it a one-person lift where the weight allows (31.3 kg / 69 lbs). The steel grille is cloth-backed.
