The 500408 extends an HDMI 2.0 source up to 164 feet (50m) over a single Cat5e/6 cable at 4K/60Hz 4:4:4, HDCP 2.2 compliant, with 18Gbps of bandwidth so nothing gets compressed along the way. HDR content passes through unchanged.

Power over Cable lets one supply run both the transmitter and receiver, and EDID copies automatically so the source configures itself for the display on first connection. One HDMI loop output at the transmitter feeds a local monitor at the source end.
