MuxLab 500306 Shielded CATV Balun
The 500306 replaces RG6 coax with Cat5e/6/7 STP or UTP in a terrestrial RF environment, at bandwidths up to 900 MHz including digital cable and broadband internet. The cast aluminium enclosure gives it far better EMI and RFI shielding than a plastic-bodied balun.
With shielded twisted pair the connection keeps egress low, which matters in buildings sharing conduit with sensitive equipment. The body is shaped to fit side by side on most RF splitters, so a multi-way split terminates neatly. Used in pairs; the 2-Pack covers one full link.
