The 500513 switches four HDMI 2.1 sources to one output at the full 48Gbps rate, so 8K content stays intact through the switch, while simultaneously de-embedding audio to SPDIF and analog L/R with eARC support for a separate audio system.

CEC control and advanced EDID management mean the switcher can respond to a display's remote and correctly negotiate resolution with each of its four sources independently, and firmware updates come in over the USB-C port.
