MuxLab 500088 Digital Audio Converter, Dolby & DTS

The 500088 takes a Dolby Digital or DTS bitstream from a coaxial S/PDIF or optical TOSlink source, decodes it, and downmixes it to a two-channel analog output. Smart TVs, Blu-ray players, and satellite receivers that only publish a compressed digital feed can then drive a stereo amplifier.

Sample rate support runs to 96kHz with 24-bit S/PDIF compressed and uncompressed bit streams. Output is a pair of color-coded RCA sockets, and a switch selects the active digital input. An optical cable is included in the box.
