Kramer VS-81H

The VS-81H collects eight HDMI sources and puts any one of them on a single display. It equalizes and re-clocks the signal on the way through, and Kramer's equalization lets the digital signal hold up over runs of up to 15m (50ft), which covers the distance from a lectern or a rack to a ceiling projector. It carries up to 6.75 Gbps with deep color, x.v.Color and up to 7.1 channels of uncompressed audio, passes HDCP and 3D through untouched, and hands EDID from the source to the display so a connected PC does not lose its resolution when the output is idle.

Each input can be set individually to PC mode or DVD mode: PC mode keeps EDID available at all times so a computer does not reset when it is not the selected source, while DVD mode reads EDID only when that input is switched through. Eight input-selector buttons, an OFF button that disconnects the output, and a PANEL LOCK button that defeats tampering sit on the front. Control it from the panel, from the bundled RC-IR3 infrared remote, over RS-232 from a touch-panel or serial controller, or over Ethernet. The 1U 19-inch chassis runs on a worldwide 100-240V AC supply and ships with a power cord, rack ears and the IR remote.
