Kramer MTX3-16-M 16x16 8K-Ready Modular Matrix Switcher
The MTX3-16-M is a modular matrix chassis rather than a fixed-format switcher: eight card slots accept any mix of quad or dual-port input and output cards, so a 16x16 system is built to the exact HDMI, HDBaseT, or fiber mix a room needs instead of forcing every port into one format. A CTRL central control card handles secure LAN connectivity for remote management, so the whole matrix can be monitored and driven from a control system without a separate gateway.
Signal handling covers 4K60 4:4:4 multi-format AV distribution today, with the central control already built for 8K switching as source and display hardware catches up. HDCP 2.2 compliance and full HDMI 2.0 support (deep color, x.v.Color, CEC, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, 3D) keep it compatible with whatever gets plugged in.
