JVC HZ-AS1G Rear Zoom Controller (B-Stock)

The HZ-AS1G is a rear zoom control unit that mounts to the back of a professional ENG lens and puts zoom, record start/stop, and RTN under the operator's thumb. It connects directly to the lens zoom servo, so zoom moves stay smooth and repeatable whether the camera is on sticks, on a jib, or on the shoulder. A zoom speed selector lets the operator set a slow, deliberate push or a fast reframe.

It works with the Canon and Fujinon 2/3-inch and 1/3-inch professional lenses supported by JVC's earlier HZ-ZS13U, and pairs with lenses used on the GY-HM700, 790, 850, 890, and GY-HC900 series cameras. This unit is offered as a JVC B-stock piece with a 30 day warranty.
