JVC GY-HC900CHU 2/3-inch 3-CMOS Broadcast Camcorder (Body Only)
The GY-HC900 is a 2/3-inch broadcast shoulder camcorder built around three 2/3-inch CMOS sensors that hold onto highlight detail, keep noise low, and carry a wide dynamic range across the frame. It accepts industry-standard B4 broadcast lenses, so an ENG or EFP crew can pair it with the Canon and Fujinon glass they already own. This CHU configuration ships as a body with the 3.26-inch OLED viewfinder but no lens, leaving the optical choice to the shooter.
A dedicated communications engine drives the camera's IP workflow, handling recording, low-latency streaming, and return video at the same time, with MIMO wireless LAN for range and reliability in the field. Footage is written to dual SDHC/SDXC card slots as 10-bit 4:2:2 H.264 at up to 50 Mbps or MPEG-2 up to 35 Mbps, with 1080p slow motion to 120 fps. Two 3G-SDI outputs, HDMI, composite, and a 68-pin fiber connector cover studio and remote installations. It carries a 3 year JVC warranty.
