JVC RM-LP25U Camera Remote Control (Demo)
The RM-LP25U is a local remote control unit that gives an operator key control of a JVC camera when it is connected in a fiber or multicore setup through the Studio Adapter and CCU. A joystick handles iris and master black together, and the camera's iris F-value reads out on a rackmountable LED display so adjustments can be made against the actual stop in real time. Self-illuminating buttons make the panel easy to read: enabled functions light green and the selected setting lights orange.
Five Scene File buttons let an operator store and instantly recall different looks, which is useful on jobs where conditions change quickly. The panel can drive a camera directly or through a fiber or multicore system, and ships with a 5-meter captive cable. This is a demo unit backed by a JVC 1-year warranty, designed for JVC ENG and studio camcorders including the GY-HD250, GY-HM790 and GY-HM890, and the GY-HC900.
