JVC KA-551U Tripod Plate (B-Stock)

The KA-551U is a metal V-wedge tripod plate that gives JVC ProHD shoulder camcorders a fast, secure quick-release mount on heavy-duty professional tripods. The V-wedge holder slides into a matching tripod adapter and locks, so a camera can be lifted off and reseated in seconds without re-leveling the head.

It fits the GY-HM700, 750, 850, 890, and 900 series cameras, and matches many Panasonic and Sony camcorders that share the same plate geometry. It is equivalent to the Panasonic SHAN-TM700 plate. This unit is offered as a JVC B-stock piece with a 30 day warranty.
