JBL AC15 Ultra Compact 5-inch 2-way Loudspeaker

The AC15 is an ultra compact 5-inch 2-way loudspeaker, part of JBL's AE Series installed range. The low-frequency section uses 1 x JBL 225J, 135 mm (5.25 in) SFG driver with 38 mm (1.5 in) edge wound voice coil. High frequencies come from 1 x JBL 201J, 25 mm (1 in) voice coil dome tweeter. Nominal coverage is 90 degrees x 90 degrees. Frequency range is 80 Hz - 20 kHz. JBL rates it at 225 W (AES rated) 150 W / 300 W / 600 W (Continuous/Program/Peak) (IEC rated).

The enclosure is 12 mm exterior grade multi-ply hardwood plywood. Crossover: Passive. Rigging: 4 x M8 points; 1 top, 1 bottom, 2 rear. 2 x M6 bottom for OmniMount 20.5 or MultiMount MM-008-BT. Environmental rating: Mil-Std 810; IPx3 per IEC529. It measures 241.3 x 150.3 x 177.8mm (9.5 x 5.9 x 7.0in). Net weight is 4.7 kg (10.5 lb).
