JBL AC16 Ultra Compact 6-inch 2-way Loudspeaker

The AC16 is an ultra compact 6-inch 2-way loudspeaker, part of JBL's AE Series installed range. The low-frequency section uses 1 x JBL 226J, 165 mm (6.5 in) SFG driver with 50 mm (2 in) edge wound voice coil. High frequencies come from 1 x 2414H 25 mm (1 in) exit compression driver, 25 mm (1 in) voice coil. Nominal coverage is 90 degrees x 90 degrees. Frequency range is 55 Hz - 20 kHz. JBL rates it at 250 W (AES rated) 160 W / 320 W / 640 W (Continuous/Program/Peak) (IEC rated).

The enclosure is 12 mm and 15 mm exterior grade multi-ply hardwood plywood. Crossover: Passive. Rigging: 5 x M8 points; 1 top, 3 bottom, 1 rear. 4 x M6 rear for OmniMount 30.0 and MultiMount MM-022-BT, MM-024-BT, MM-020-CM. Environmental rating: Mil-Std 810; IPx3 per IEC529. For higher environmental ratings, use WRC or WRX. It measures 381.0 x 199.4 x 226.1mm (15.0 x 7.8 x 8.9in). Net weight is 7.2 kg (15.8 lb).
