Ikan BA12 Handheld Boom Pole
The BA12 is an 11-foot aluminum boom pole built to swing a shotgun or hypercardioid microphone over a scene and hold it steady between takes. Four independent friction-locked sections telescope from a 34.5 inch collapsed length out to 138 inches, so an operator can dial in exactly the reach a shot needs without overextending. A cable raceway runs the mic cable inside the pole, keeping it off the shot and out of the way of the grip.
The pole terminates in a 3/8 in.-16 or 1/4 in.-20 mounting thread that accepts most shock mounts and mic clips, and the aluminum tube keeps the weight manageable for longer boom sessions. It ships with a padded case and shoulder pad for transport between locations.
