Ikan BS-P60 Medium Blimp Windscreen and Suspension System Complete Kit

Outdoors a shotgun microphone loses to two things: moving air and handling noise coming up the pole. The BS-P60 addresses both, a rigid blimp basket that keeps wind off the capsule and an internal suspension that isolates the microphone from shock and vibration transmitted through the mount. The synthetic fur windshield goes over the basket when the wind picks up past what the basket alone can absorb.

It is sized as a medium blimp and fits the common shotguns on a location cart: the E-Image PM-876/976, Sony ECM-674, Rode NTG3, Sennheiser MKH-416 and Audio-Technica AT-897. The base carries a 3/8" thread so it mounts to any standard boom pole, and three clamps are included to hold larger diameter shotgun bodies securely in the suspension.
