The EK50AAM pairs an E-Image fluid drag video head with a 2-stage aluminum tripod, giving a shooter a complete support system for cameras and rigs up to 13.2 pounds. The head runs a spring-loaded counterbalance system and adjustable tilt drag, so a balanced camera stays put when hands come off and pans and tilts stay smooth under load. A sliding quick-release plate lets the operator find the balance point fast and drop the camera on and off between setups.

The 65mm bowl base makes leveling quick without re-setting the legs, and the dual-stage aluminum legs adjust from roughly 31 to 64 inches for high and low angles. The whole kit weighs about 9.5 pounds, light enough to carry between locations while still steadying a fully built ENG or DSLR rig.
