DVDO Air 4K Wireless HDMI Extender

Air 4K is the higher-resolution member of the Air pair, carrying HDMI at 4K 24 or 30 Hz over 60 GHz WirelessHD. The 60 GHz band is separate from Wi-Fi, so neither the link nor the network interferes with the other, and latency stays low enough to be imperceptible in presentation and playback use.

Range is about 30 ft within a room using a single wall bounce, and well over 100 ft with a clear line of sight, which suits auditoriums and open rooms. The signal will not pass through concrete, metal or thick wood, so plan it as an in-room link. RF beam steering re-acquires the path when it is blocked and recovery is quick. The transmitter and receiver both take USB power, and DVDO's installation configuration utility handles pairing and setup. 7.1 HD audio, 3D and CEC pass through.
