DVDO HDBVM-POE-1 4K KVM 70m Extender over HDBaseT 2.0 with PoH
The HDBVM-POE-1 is an HDBaseT 2.0 set that carries HDMI, analog stereo audio, power, RS-232 and USB 2.0 over a single Cat cable to 70 m. The USB side is the reason to choose it over a plain video extender: the transmitter holds the USB host and the receiver presents four USB device ports, so a keyboard, a mouse, an interactive display or a USB storage device at the far end operates a source that lives in the rack.
Distance depends on the cable and the resolution. Over Cat6a or Cat7 the set carries 4K at 60 Hz with 4:2:0 chroma to 40 m and 1080p60 to 70 m; over Cat5e or Cat6 those figures are 35 m and 60 m. Power over HDBaseT runs one way, with a single supply at the transmitter feeding both ends. The 12 V supply uses a screw-on connector so it cannot be knocked loose, and LEDs show power and link status at both ends.
