Decimator MD-HXHDMI/SDI Cross Converter

The MD-HX is a small, low-power HDMI and (3G/HD/SD)-SDI cross converter with scaling and frame rate conversion built in. Its 2K motion-adaptive scaling engine converts between 245 input formats and 41 output formats through 14 selectable conversion modes, and it supports 3G level A and B on the input and output so it can bridge the two 3G formats. A professional test pattern generator adds 41 output formats and 58 test patterns.

The unit takes one HDMI and one (3G/HD/SD)-SDI input, and provides one HDMI output plus SDI outputs that can act as active loop-throughs or additional feeds, letting it double as a 1-to-4 distribution amplifier. Audio pairs in the SDI and HDMI outputs can be rearranged as needed. It is encased in a solid aluminum body with no noisy fan, and an easy-to-use LCD and button system replaces dip switches and computer setup.
