Autoscript EPIC-IP19 19-inch Integrated Prompt and Talent Monitor System

The EPIC-IP19 is the full-size end of the E.P.I.C. line: a 19-inch, 1500-nit prompt monitor at 1280 x 1024 with an 18.5-inch full-HD talent monitor built into the same assembly. Because the talent screen is integrated rather than bracket-mounted, nothing restricts the camera's tilt range, and the friction-hinge mount lets a presenter reset the angle and fold the display away under the prompt monitor when the shot does not need it. Drive electronics stay in the prompt monitor, which keeps the talent panel shallow, light, and cheap to power.

The monitor is an Intelligent Prompting device, so it takes script straight from WinPlus-IP over the network with no scroll engine between the PC and the glass, and every prompter on the network scrolls together. Dual HD-SDI and dual CVBS inputs remain for on-air feeds and older scroll boxes, timecode comes in as LTC or NTP, and four integrated tally lights give roughly 270 degrees of visibility. Power is a 4-pin XLR at 12-16.8VDC drawing 51W, and a repeat tally output with 12V DC is available for downstream gear. The complete on-camera package weighs 14.7 kg / 32.4 lb.
