AJA FiberST-1RX-12G 12G-SDI Single-Mode ST Fiber Receiver SFP

AJA's 12G-SDI Mini-Converters take their fibre optics as a plug-in SFP, and this module is the ST-connector receiver: one channel of 12G-SDI arriving over single-mode fibre, up to 10 km, on the bayonet-locking ST connector many broadcast plants and OB trucks already have in the wall. It fits the 12G-AM, 12G-AMA, Hi5-12G and OG-Hi5-12G, and is the optic to order when a receive-only path is needed on one of those units.

The receiver accepts a wide window from 1260 to 1620 nm, so it pairs with a 1310 nm transmitter such as the FiberST-1TX-12G, and its sensitivity of -10 dBm at 12 Gbps (-14 dBm at 3 Gbps) leaves margin on a long run. Rates from SD through 12G-SDI are supported per SMPTE 297, 259, 292, 424, 2081 and 2082.
