Corvid 44 BNC gives a workstation four 3G-SDI connections on full-size BNC, and each one is configured independently as an input or an output. That means the same card serves a four-in ingest station, a four-out playout machine, or any mix in between, and formats can differ channel to channel across up to four HD or SD paths.

The four SDI connections can also be combined into a single 4K or UltraHD channel, so a card bought for HD work is not stranded when the job moves up. It carries 16 channels of 24-bit embedded audio in each direction, takes analog color black or HD tri-level sync as reference, signals HDR transfer characteristics and colorimetry over SDI VPID, and connects on an 8-lane PCIe 2.0 interface.
