Whirlwind TESTER Audio Cable Tester

The Whirlwind TESTER checks most cable combinations of XLR, 1/4 in. and RCA phono plugs for shorts, opens and reversed polarity. The hands-free design is the point: you can flex and twist the cable while it is connected, which is the only reliable way to find an intermittent.

An on/off switch with an LED tells you there is still enough testing power in it, so a flat battery does not read as a dead cable. A belt clip is included.
