Whirlwind NE8FFX6-W EtherCon Panel Receptacle

The EtherCon series covers both male cable carriers and assembled female receptacles, and this is one of the assembled female receptacles. EtherCon puts a standard RJ45 inside a metal XLR-style shell so the fragile plastic latch is protected and the connector locks.

As a receptacle it goes into a panel, a wall plate or a stage box rather than onto the end of a cable.
